Discover Scuba Diving
Do you want to discover Scuba Diving but are not certified? Take our Discover Scuba Diving trip and feel what it's like to breathe underwater.
You don't need any certification and you will be always accompanied by an instructor, who will guide you through this amazing experience; it’s suitable for all people starting from 10 years old.
Options
The following are the options for the One Day Discover Scuba Diving. All of them will take place in Barcelona or in the Costa Brava (1 hour away from Barcelona by car). What's more, transportation from and to our centre in Barcelona is included; if you need us to pick you up at your accommodation ask us about our pick-up and drop-off service.
OPTION A - All year long
Try Scuba Dive: Pool Dive (Barcelona)
Once we arrive at the swimming pool, we give you a theoretical basis about scuba diving and we show you how to use the equipment properly. When we are equipped we step into the swimming pool, and we establish the first contact with the water and the diving equipment. We will do some exercises and we will take some photos during a short dive around. Full activity takes about 2-3 hours.
OPTION B - All year long
Try Scuba Diving: 1 shore dive (Barcelona)
RECOMMENDED BY BCN Diving. Once we arrive at the dive center, we give you a theoretical basis about scuba diving and we show you how to use the equipment properly. When we are equipped we step into the sea, and we establish the first contact with the water and the diving equipment. We will do some exercises and we will take some photos during a short dive around. Full activity takes about 2-3 hours.
OPTION C - Only available between November and April
Try Scuba Diving: 1 shore dive + 1 boat dive (Costa Brava)
Once we arrive at the dive center, we give you a theoretical basis about scuba diving and we show you how to use the equipment properly. When we are equipped we step into the sea, and we establish the first contact with the water and the diving equipment. Later on and once we feel ready we go straight to the harbor to catch the boat, from which we get into the sea and enjoy the second dive in open waters. The dives' duration will depend on many factors, but they usually last between 30 and 50 minutes each. Full activity takes about 6-7 hours.
OPTION D- Only available between May and October
Try Scuba Diving: 1 pool dive + 1 boat dive (Costa Brava)
Once we arrive at the dive center, we give you a theoretical basis about scuba diving and we show you how to use the equipment properly. When we are equipped we step into the swimming pool, and we establish the first contact with the water and the diving equipment. Later on and once we feel ready we go straight to the harbor to catch the boat, from which we get into the sea and enjoy the second dive in open waters. We recommend this option because we feel it is good to have a smooth first contact with water; within the swimming pool there are no waves and visibility is always good; we cannot say the same for sea dives, because we have no control on waves and weather. On the other hand you have the chance of making the second dive from the boat and take full advantage of the diving day at open sea. The dives duration will depend on many factors, but they usually last between 30 and 50 minutes each. Full activity takes about 6-7 hours.

We do Discover Scuba Diving seven days a week, year-round. Contact us to book your one day trip (subject to availability and weather conditions).
*Date change Policy: date changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Changes made less than 48 hours in advance will be penalised.
*Cancellation Policy: There is no refund for cancellations. If you do not want to enjoy a contracted service, you can choose another service or product of equal value.
